You can find detailed obituaries for both James Duff (Greenock Telegraph and Greenock Advertiser 31May 1880) and David Duff (Glasgow Herald 2 Sept 1890) in the newspaper archive. James had been a Provost of Greenock.

Jessie Aitken Alexander Born 26 Aug 1846 Baptised 27 Sept 1846 Associate Session Glasgow. Parents James Alexander and Jane Fisher.

Therefore wonder if this is the birth for Jean Fisher 11 Aug 1817 Glasgow. Parents Robert Fisher and Janet Aitken.
