Great uncle Herbert

Herbert Harry Dennis, born 1902 Surrey and died 1977 Chelmsford, Essex.  In 1911 he was living in Battersea, london.  He was my great uncle, but I know little about his life, if he married or had kids.

There is a marriage to Elizabeth Knight in 1927, Camberwell, but can't be sure.

Hi if his occupation was a Baker then yes he married an Elizabeth ( E) and lived in Lewisham, have you checked Dennis/Knight births on Freebmd from date of marriage?

Hi it is very possible that Elizabeth was older than Herbert, b c 1894, so possibly a Widow when she married him, I cannot give any more re my findings!!

Hi a fair bit away from Essex but their was a death of an Elizabeth Eliza Dennis b 24th January 1894 in June qtr 1977 Newton Abbott?

The probate for Herbert Harry Dennis shows he died 4th January 1977 of Tiptree, Colchester, Camas, 14, Gorse Avenue, Administration Ipswich 23rd March 1977 £11609
