Right, now this is very confusing! I think this means Mary Margaret Gallagher is not Charles Gallagher's wife after all. Charles was married to Mary Sullivan, seen as "Mary H." as stated earlier in the thread. So I'm now pretty confused about when she actually died. I thought it was 1980, maybe I've been wrong. But how do we address this:

A few years later now, there is a New Jersey death index online, which has a death for Mary M. Gallagher, age 73, on 23 Nov 1980 in East Orange, Essex Co. The Social Security number matches the one on the Social Security death index who was born 16 Jul 1907.
Have I the wrong date of birth as well? Also, having no obituary for Mary Sullivan (or Gallagher) means she may indeed have had children. Any way that I can find those children, if they existed? Thanks!
