I know see where Margareta was born which is very helpful.

I found detailed documentation a both of Carl and Margareta's deaths in Sweden. It comes from a book of American citizen deaths abroad.

Would you be able to find any kind of obituary for either Carl or Margareta in Sweden? I could not find it in any newspaper in the United States using a couple websites that I belong to. Their children Julia and Arthur ended up having some issues after their parents died. It seems that Arthur collected some of the rent payments on their properties but never told his sister (who was the executrix of the will.)  Julia brought suit against him for this.

I see that Julia went to Sweden with her parents when she was a very small girl for a visit. But she and her brother lived most of their lives in Connecticut. She married a chemist with the last name Borg. Her brother Arthur never married but became involved in politics before his death in 1956.

This is truly awesome information. Thanks again for all your help.

Is this Västra Sallerup in the image I attached?

I'm tracking Margareta and her family (father Per Larsson (1823 15/1) and mother Kersti Larsdotter and siblings). They left Börringe (Gustav) on 16 Aug 1870.

I went to the moving in book for 1870 (and 1871) for V. Sallerup, but I don't see them.  Did I misread this parish or date?

Everything you have found seems to be correct, also the correct parish, but their moving in record is missing or they changed their minds and went elsewhere, anyway.....
........not easy this one. I had to start backwards. Here is Per Larsson's last entry before his death in 1912:
Västra Sallerup (Eslöv) AIIa:14 (1908-1917) Bild 240 / sid 14 (AID: v266965.b240.s14, NAD: SE/LLA/13478)

I think you should be able to trace them from here. You will notice his wife's death date recorded too. Her death entry should give you a page in the household book.
I do know they lived in Eslöfs Köping in 1890 in Västra Sallerup/Eslöv.

Here is Kjersti's 1904 death record.  I see page 10 mentioned.  I looked in all 3 household books but I don't see it.  I'm not that good in the years when there are more than one book.  And they seem to be villages or cities with house numbers. I am in the right spot?
