They left for Stjernebo in 1808.

Here is a good site for the Swedish abbreviations: https://www.genealogi.se/swedish-abbreviations

What do the letters stand for before Johannes' names (Abs.?)

It actually says "åbo" - usually a farmer farming land owned by the state. They had the right to farm the land for as long as they wanted as long as they did their duty.

Got it. I thought it might be "absent".

Thanks for the tip on the abbreviation website. I will bookmark that as I'm sure it will come in very handy.

Ian:

Can you read on the left side....Kjerstin's parent's names...and where they lived?  Born 29 May 1768 Tranemo.

Hi Ian:  One more....

Feb 1899 death record for Josef Björn

https://app.arkivdigital.se/production/index.html?aid=v187856.b1670.s9&page=main/index

There is a lot of writing all the way across.  Can you let me know if there is anything interesting or important?  I see 926 korporal, so was this a military reference?  It's hard to read the reason why he died and also the writing at the far right.

Thanks,

Paul

They were Pehr Hansson and Stina Olofsdotter at Berg Ödegården.

Here is the household 1795-1800: Tranemo AI:1 (1795-1819) Bild 9 / sid 7 (AID: v14781.b9.s7, NAD: SE/GLA/13570)

But don't forget that this book goes up to 1819 so keep turning the pages. There are 5 books in that book alone. You will also find Johannes Magnusson at Berg Ödegården too.

You will see "abs." a lot in the books. It means absolved of all their sins.

Hi
I thought it be easier to translate rather than explain:

"Josef Björn, förra detta korporal nr.926 vid Kinds Härad - från By Östra (Gräsåsen)

Slaganfall

Utdrog ur Död och Begrafningsbok af 26 June 1899 till Kronolänsmannen i Kinds Härad Södra Distrikt.
Liknande utdrag af 19 Juli 1899 till samma ? ? sen begärt uppdrag på anmodan af Kronofogden den 25 Juli 1899 till Kronofogden."

Josef Björn, ex Korporal no.926 at Kind's Judicial District - from By Östra (Gräsåsen).

Stroke.

Extracted from Death and Burial Book dated 26 June 1899 to The Swedish Enforcement Authority in Kind's Judicial SouthvDistrict. A similar extract dated 19 July 1899 for the same ? ? ? then requested the requisition from The Swedish Enforcement Authority dated 25 july 1899 to The Swedish Enforcement Authority.

"The Swedish Enforcement Authority" is the modern name today.

If you are interested there are many books containing "Inventory of Estates" of the deceased. They contain a lot of info about the family etc. I have tried to locate some for you without success. Sometimes there are registers which makes searching a little easier otherwise it is quite time consuming.
I recommend you looking them up.

Here is one example for Stina Olofsdotter and Per Hansson from Berg Ödegården:

The index: Kinds häradsrätt BouReg:1 (1736-1840) Bild 105 / sid 102 (AID: v186384.b105.s102, NAD: SE/GLA/11160)
The actual record: Kinds häradsrätt FIIa:24 (1814-1815) Bild 243 / sid 479 (AID: v142766.b243.s479, NAD: SE/GLA/11160)

Johannes Magnusson and Kerstin are stated in the record.
