Thank you, ian!  I had been able to follow her to Borås, and then I think she moved to Toarp in 1895.

But I could not her after that.  I did however see the Isaksdotter last name...at least for a while.

Thanks again for finding a 1902 record of her moving to America.  It all matches up!

Hi
That was a wee bit fiddly.
Here she is with what looks like to be her sister as a factory worker:

Borås AIIa:18 (1899-1905) Bild 217 / sid 214 (AID: v81970.b217.s214, NAD: SE/GLA/13048)
and
Borås AIIa:9 (1899-1905) Bild 216 / sid 212 (AID: v81961.b216.s212, NAD: SE/GLA/13048)

Hi
I noticed that those books only went up to 1894.

Me too.

Thanks for the extra help. I found her with her sister Frida (and Frida's daughter Edit Gertrud) in the 1900 Swedish census. I think it said she was a seamstress which would make sense with working in a factory.

......1900 Swedish census.

Hi
Is this census on Ancestry or elsewhere?
Also, Borås was the centrum for textiles in Sweden around that time.

I got that information from the
Riksarkivet.se website.

I'm not sure if it's technically called a census or not.

Thanks for the extra information on Borås.  I appreciate it.

PS:  looks like we will escape the worst of hurricane Irma. We were expecting a direct hit tomorrow, but now the track has shifted to the west.

Yes, but we could still lose power for days.  During one hurricane, we had no electricity for 8 days, and parts of Fort Lauderdale for 21 days.  I have hotel reservations just in case this happens.
