Ritchie and ? relative to the disposal . .

Can't figure out the preceding word yet.     Could it be deeds??

 Doesn't sound right, but . . . . .

Hi Horselydown86 and Wiggy,

What can I do now? I can't post little bit by little bit, could I send the whole thing to one or
both of you?  or do you have any other ideas?

Thanks so much for your combined input, it's very much appreciated.

All the best

4, I can't really see anyone taking on 13 pages of this as a labour of love.  It won't be me anyway, I'm afraid.

All I can suggest is that you work carefully through the words done so far, and get a feel for the writing.  Then try the next section yourself.

When you get stuck, put a [?] and move on to the next word.  Post the difficult words or phrases here for help.

I guarantee it will become easier as you do more.

I agree with Horselydown.

But when you post the tricky bits, include some words around  so we can compare other letters.

With a lot of help from people on here I have managed to read most of some tricky wills . . . .  as HD says, you will get a feel for it and some words will become more obvious when in context.

Besides I don't have anywhere near the skills HD does.     ;)

As an example, 4, take a look at how okkool has organised his transcript and requests on this thread:

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=773433.0

Also, to add to Wiggy's useful suggestions, it is much easier for us if you do your transcript using the same lines as the original.  That is, break the transcript line where the original line breaks.

That way it is easy to find position.

Wiggy, not sure whether your last line refers to me, but if it does (and for the record), I am a he.

No offence taken, Wiggy.

I think you may well be right with ...Deed relative to...

The D and the v match those in David.
