Heeps and somehting??!!

Every now and again I come back to this document.   I made a fair bit of headway yesterday but there are several things I still can't work out so I'm hoping some of you wonderful RootChatters can help.   It's the word after what looks like "alsoe heeps and" that I'm struggling with.

alsoe keeps & deteynes sev(er)all of the Testat(ors) goods

There is no crossbar on the t, but the letter l appears to be looped in this hand.
