Father's surname
« on: Saturday 05 August 17 20:21 BST (UK) »
Hi,
This is a long shot because it is so faded but could anyone tell me what the father's surname is and whether there is any chance it could be Bevan? Could somebody also tell me what the mothers name is?

Thanks
Medlicott, Bevan,(Monmouthshire,Wales)
Sweet(Somerset,England)
Donovan, Field(Cork, Ireland)

Thanks for the replies,
Here's some context for the image as well as a bigger portion of the page.
This is an entry from the parish register of Llangattock, Breconshire from 1791.
Llangattock is a very rural area and most of the names are Welsh in origin,
I am trying to find the entry for my Great grandfather x3 who was called William Bevan.
My great grandfather was called Thomas Bevan.
