James Wood Census Occupation

Could someone please help me identify what the occupation of James Wood, aged 15, in the 1861 census could be?

I THINK the second word COULD be Paintworks, but I stand to be corrected on that. I simply cannot make out what the preceding work is. Any help there would be very gratefully received

I could not see the R in printworks.
