1891 census look up - specific address
« on: Friday 11 August 17 12:42 BST (UK) »
Hi There
is anyone able to look up who was living at 60, Primrose Road, Leeds in the 1891 census. I have a marriage certificate quoting this address from 1888 and am trying to find out whether the couple stayed there or if relatives i dont yet know about lived at that address.

TIA
Trish

many thanks for the response - not heard of any of these before so will look further to see if there is any connection (of course, they could all be totally unrelated!)

Hi Trish,

May not help your search but there is a photo of Primrose Road on Leodis

http://www.leodis.net/dislay.aspx?resouceIdentifier=200334_62208194

Regards,

Ian

I just tried that link again and it doesn't work, so go into www.leodis.net then type area Burmantofts and type in Primrose Road. That should bring up the photo page for you.

Hi

A lot of the time a house number could change when they built or demolished house in the road so might not be the same house.

That is very true  :)

People also moved around as their families increased in size.   Both the 1881 and 1891 stop st No 60 so looks like last house in the street.
