WW1 Digitisation please Wellington
« on: Friday 11 August 17 17:32 BST (UK) »
Hi

If someone is visiting the archives anytime soon could they please take a look at this request. There is already 1 file digitised for this lady but have discovered many of the WW1 nurses seem to have 2 different files.
The file is for Amy Grace Marshall WW1 22/387
https://www.archway.archives.govt.nz/ViewFullltem.do?code=24589553

Many thanks
KK

I can only see one file for this lady

Cheers Janette

PS,if you click on "preservation master" then "derivative copy"and then "table of contents" it becomes a PDF file that you can click on and then scroll through rather than having to open the files separately

Hi Janette
Thanks for the tip for looking at the files. Why can I see 2 files??
The digitised one you have shown https://www.archway.archives.govt.nz/ViewFullltem.do?code=10928700 This covers the period 1914 -1918.
The one noted below that I want is
https://www.archway.archives.govt.nz/ViewFullltem.do?code=24589553
This covers 1916 -1919.
I only query this as several of the WW1 nurses I have looked have now got a second record which contain different files to the original. Any clues on this?
Regards
KK

Yes I see the two files. Another example Cora Beattie Anderson, she used to have only one file and now there are two more. The second one digitised a
Has full record, service etc which the first batch missed. Many men are like this they they have a second file that is full of territorial service and extra papers correspondence that is not in their main file that was first digitised.
