As William was born 1839, George presumably died 1839 - 1841.
That death could be Wheathamstead, Stoney Stratford or Clapham perhaps?
Have you found any possible  deaths?

I suppose William could have given wrong father's details on his marriage as he didn't know him but it is also odd that there are two occupations.

I know Sarah is Gregory on the birth certificate, but could she be Sarah Nash, a single mother?

hallo all

I am /was simply trying to find a marriage.  Your various replies all helped me to re-focus and re-check details,  for which I am grateful.

The census sheet with the grundon children was irrelevant,  but heywood had already recognised that fact.

I shall have to assume that the marriage record is unobtainable   or that sarah gregory was never married.
