Hi David

The Wallis family have eluded me somewhat.

My Emma b1853 Great Hollingbury Essex died 1897 Marylebone London, married Robert W Trott. Her father was Edward Wallis 1816-1867 who married Ann Bishop b1823 Albury Herts died 1889 Broxted.

I have a copy of the marriage certificate between Edward Wallis and Ann Bishop which occurred in 1843 Albury. That shows Edward's father as James Wallis a labourer.

I don't know anything else about the Wallis family.

I see you have the Bishops of Hertfordshire as one of your name interests. I have them going back to 1730 if that's of any interest to you.

Kind regards
Carol

Ooh! Yes please! Typical that I'm at work at the moment but will send you a PM as soon as I get home! I've been trying to find out about the Bishops, and only found out about her father Augustus.

Would love to know more!

Im sure this tree must be illegal if Edwards parents are James and Henrietta. Florence Emily Wallis' paternal grandfather and maternal grandmother are brother and sister!?!

Does this seem right to you? Very worrying if it is....
