I have located a Baptism record for a Daniel Reed, Rickling, 29 Nov 1795. Mother is Hannah, no father listed. Essex Record Office D/P 1/1/3 (Live Events / Parish Baptisms). Daniel leaves Chelmsford as a Convict to NSW, Australia on the Surry(1) in 1814.

I am having no luck tracing Hannah, around this time or in the 1841 Census. Or of course who Daniel's father is.

Any ideas where I could look next?
