Leslie Gordon Roberts

Hello, does anyone remember Leslie Gordon Roberts who was born around 1907 in Liverpool.  I know he owned a shop on County Road Liverpool in the early 50's and the shop was called Kens Cash Stores and apparently it was renowned for its lovely bacon.  I can't find out who his parents were.   I know Leslie died in 1980 in Manchester.  He married twice.  2nd wife was Sylvia Joan Taylor born in Wales and died 1970 in Manchester.  Does anyone remember the shop or any of these people.  Please private message me if you do remember them.

This one sadly died in Redruth, Mar qtr 1912, aged 5.

Sylvia Joan Roberts died at 74 flat 3a, Wilmslow road, Didsbury, age 41.

Thanks to everyone who has replied.  All of the answers are correct bar the one in Redruth.  Its the parents I'm not sure of, the parents you found Mary8, I also found but I'm not really sure this is the correct one, as I believe that Leslies' father was in the pub trade but I can't find anyone of that name living in a pub in Liverpool and yes, those grave details are correct also.  I was told that there was 21 years age difference bet Leslie and Sylvia and I know Sylvia was born 14/12/1928 in Welshpool so by my reckoning Leslie should have been born 1907 but I can't find one of that age on the 1911 c.  I also looked at the 1939 and found no Leslie Roberts in Liverpool (he lived there til around 1965 before moving to manchester) born 1907/8/9 only 1911.  I also wondered if anyone knew the shop too.  Thank again to all of you.

I see that he married Sylvia in Liverpool in 1955.
