1939 Register
« on: Thursday 21 September 17 16:53 BST (UK) »
I have recently found this a great help with tracing recent family history. I can't find Marjorie Ward born 22 Jan 1918 Norwood Green and Coley (Brighouse Halifax) on the 1939 register. She married David Gwyn Morris in Swansea May 17th 1945. Marjorie died 2nd Aug 1953 so she should be on the 1939 register. Parents were Charles Ward and  Elizabeth Francis Ward (Cox) Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry we are not allowed to do 1939 look ups.  Have you found her parents, if so where were they living

Is she likely to have been in the services  :-\
(Sorry I added this after nanny jan posted)

If Marjorie was in the services then she will not be on the Register;  service personnel were on a different register.

Thanks for the replies. She was later a nurse in the forces.
