Hi the only death registration of a George Allison in the area I can locate is:-

George Allison born 28th July 1925 death June qtr 1988 Westminster v15 page 141?

I was going to suggest searching the 1939 with that birthdate for George - but will it still be a closed record as death too late?

There is a George W Allison with that date of birth - in Norfolk

Yes, I saw the Norfolk one.

This birth may be relevant because of the mmn of Potts, which was the mmn of Marjorie, I think.

George A Archibald   mmn  Potts

There is a George W Allison with that date of birth - in Norfolk
Thanks for looking but he was definitely born in Ashington as far as I know or may even be somewhere in Northumberland.
