Thank you Anna and reed,
I need to pull out the trail records of the 2 brothers and the 2 women that were accomplices and the victim's name.   The brothers Abraham and Joseph seem to have had a sister called Elizabeth, but I haven't concentrated on her so am unable to offer additional information.  I do remember that Joseph went as both Joseph Priestley and J. Firth and I think his full name was really Joseph Priestley Firth, and he was older than Abraham by about 2 years and was referred to as 'a habitual criminal   Joseph's woman friend (I don't think they were legally married) was also transported to Tasmania for her part in the crime.   I really should be grocery shopping now, so will go and do that, do my homework re that other names in the trial records and get back to you, most likely in my morning (about 15 hrs time).
