Hi,

1890 NSW Census
Glen Innes District, Gresham County , Township, Winter Vale.

Dennis Shea... left District since delivered.

Winter Vale had three householder names on the Census and one was Dennis Shea, Winter Vale is located on the Boyd River not far from Dalmorton between  Gen Innes and Grafton.

This may be a red herring, but just in case they are part of the Shea family....

I've just indexed (for Ryerson Index) a 1993-Nov-12  funeral notice for Alice May SHEA (known as May) with husband Victor, in Toowoomba.  Victor's FN is on Ryerson in 1995.

'Migration' from Grafton area to Toowoomba is quite feasible - not that far as the crow flies, in Oz terms of distance  :)

If you think there's any connection let me know your email, by PM, and I'll send you a copy.

Hi Dawn,

Does it say anything about family - father, mother, children etc ?
It is possible, as Theresa Eva and her sister Mary Ann Shea ended up around Toowoomba. Theresa died in 1977.

Do you mean sister Sarah Ann, as I think it was Mary Agnes who was her sister.

Yes it names some children and spouses but as they may be still living, I can't put their names up here.   No sisters etc though. Which is why I can only email it to you.
May was 87, and her husband Victor Frederick SHEA who died in 1995 was then 81 and living at Clifton which is between Toowoomba and Warwick.

I have to agree with you there. I usually don't have a TV, however I do enjoy the odd doco.
