Greetings from Kansas City, Missouri USA
Seeking information on Phillips/Giles Families, Warwickshire, Birmingham/help with Parish Registers
My Grandfather, George Frederick Phillips was born Feb. 1873 in Warwickshire, Birmingham and was the son of:
John Phillips, birth around 1828, his occuption was Brass Founder.
Sarah A. (Giles) Phillips, possibly from Deritend. Her father was Thomas Giles, wire weaver and her mother's name may have been Mary Ann.
John and Sarah married August 7, 1848 at St. Peter/St. Paul's Church in Aston Parish. Both gave their address as Deritend. On the Marriage Banns, John's father is listed as John Phillips, Gludd Cutter(?)

I have found several possible death records on BMD but since very little personal information is given I am not certain that I am looking at the right people.
Sarah Ann Phillips(child)- Death Sep. 1861- District-Aston, Vol. 6d, Page 164 -No age listed
John Phillips-Death Sept.1883-District-Aston, Vol. 6d, Page 232-Age 56

Also have George Frederick's Christening date as Dec. 12, 1873 Warwickshire, Birmingham but no names of his parents.
Any help would be appreciated, living in the US makes visiting the area difficult) Wish I had known all these things as a child when I visited family in Birmingham and London frequently.
