Thomas Harris JOSLIN, 10 Brigade Royal Artillery.
« on: Wednesday 08 November 17 21:13 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

I found details of the above in TNA Reference: WO 69/569/48 (Entry 139).   I have looked in FindmyPast for further service information but found none.   Personal profile:  He was born Plymouth 1840, Father and Mother John and Elizabeth JOSLIN.

Can someone help with any military information please.

Thank you,

BAC3

Does look as if his records have been destroyed which was normal if someone simply completed a term of service. A snippet  - the 10th Brigade were in Malta in 1871 so presumably he joined them there after marriage.  In 1876 when he transferred to the Hospital Corps they were back in England.  Can't find anything else I'm afraid.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,

Thank you MaxD,

Sad about the records, but at least you have provided me with some tangible information for which I am grateful.
