There is some writing above the name of the first witness, anyone know what that is?

I'm 90% certain this is my family, however, if the year is 1856, it's impossible, as Robert Dixon died in 1841, but all other details fit.

 I think it's more likely to be 1836

By trying to work out the direction of the pen strokes, I think it could be 1836.

This is actually confirmed by the images at Ancestry:
(a) this document is filed/filmed near others that are more clearly 1836
(b) there's also an image of a register book where there's no doubt at all about the year
