Not really the topic,but can someone explain. If I register with the free Family Search website, does it remain free? Silly I know but haven’t used the site for years.

As far as we know it remains free   ;D   You don't need to give credit card details to register.

I have been registered for a long time, it is purely a formality, as previously mentioned no card details are needed.
