Seeking contact with descendants of Fannie ATKINSON (born Cowan) was born at Old Ford London Middlesex in 1871.
Ethel was the daughter of Frederick COWAN, engineer & Fanny Cowan nee RICHARDSON. Her parents lived in Walthamstowe, West Ham, Essex during the 1890s.
Fannie married a George Walter ATKINSON in Walthamstowe in 1897
I am the great grandson of Frederick Cowan through his son Henry Richardson Cowan, wheelwright & blacksmith, who married Fanny Esther PATTERSON. Henry settled in the Eastwood area in Essex during the 1890s. Henry's daughter Edith May Cowan (1915-2004) was my mother.
I would dearly love to know more about Fannie's life & obtain copies of any photos of both her & her family. Perhaps photos of her parents still exist out there in the ether!
