Noonan Family in Kilkenny

Hi,

I am trying to trace any info on my Great-Grandfather's 1st wife.

James Kersley (51st Regt of Foot) married on 18 April 1871 at St John Parish Church,Kilkenny to Mary Noonan.

It is believed that Mary died the following year.

Mary's father was Richard Noonan and was living at St Michael Lane,Kilkenny.

Thanks for your reply, yes they married at St John Church Kilkenny.

I have the marriage cert, also the death cert for Mary, it is the informant on the death cert of Mary & the birth & death certs of the child born to my great grandfather and Mary, the informant is named as Catherine Noonan of Michaels Lane Kilkenny. I dont know whether this Catherine is the Mother of Mary or a sister.
