It certainly looks likely, I have not checked to see if the number of children still alive in 1911 ties in

Thank you all for your help. I did see Alexandra born 1904 & died 1908 & am thinking this could be the missing Mary? She was baptised Mary but my Grt Grandmother had a very strong Glasgow accent so maybe the minister couldn't understand what she said as some of the other baptisms are wrong. Jeanie is down as Jane & some of the dates are wrong. On 1911 census it states she had 6 children 4 still living & 2 died. Matilda (my Grandmother) Frank & Jeanie are on the census. She did have James born in 1903 but he doesnt appear on the 1911 census with them & I havent found a death for him so am thinking he was the 4th child still living. I have found another child born in Glasgow in 1897  & who died in 1897 named Alexander mothers maiden name Haddow. The family came to Salford in 1898 .

She may well have been baptised Alexandra and Mary was just a clerical error by whoever completed the register.  I would doubt that her birth was registered as Alexandra then they baptised her as Mary and notified her death as Alexandra.

Where does it state the mothers maiden name please? I think the child Alexandra is the one I'm looking for. She may have been called Alexandra Mary? On the baptisms none of the other childrens middle names are noted. There seems to be a lot of errors on lots of documents. On 1911 census family search it states Mary M S Robertson was a widow but I have a copy of the original document & she is down as married 16yrs. We know her husband deserted her between 1905 & 1910.

The GRO website has this
ROBERTSON, ALEXANDRA       (Mothers maiden surname) HADDOW
GRO Reference: 1904  S Quarter in SALFORD  Volume 08D  Page 103

Her death on freebmd
Death Dec 1908
ROBERTSON    Alexandra    4
Salford    8d   33
(ADDED The GRO has it indexed as Alexander but found when selecting female.  This entry is taken from a different copy to that used by freebmd.  Looking at the image on freebmd it does state Alexandra )
