 can any one please tell me why i have got this message via email.

does this mean what ever i ask i get   has been locked.   if so why? 

  does this question also mean i will get locked?

It means that Ev (who is a Rootschat user) has locked a thread that he/she originated. People won't be able to reply to that thread while it remains locked. You have been notified (presumably) because you were on the notification list for the thread in question.

I think it means that Ev, who is a moderator, has locked a thread started by Dorothy, probably because it was asking for information already found on one of her other threads.

Dorothy:  your latest thread was locked because you keep asking the same questions over and over again, and yet you won't accept the answers given to you.

You are being helped outside of RootsChat, and at some personal expense, by those who are trying to assist you.  Please answer their queries by e-mail, so that they are able to help you further.





Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
If you don't ask the question, you won't get an answer.

 I cant answer what i dont know.

 so to stop me from repeating myself i will tripple check everything. and i wasnt asking about where my gran was living. i was asking  about what would have happend to any of her belongings after she passed away. and that was answerd.

so if im not/ cant put anything on here what is the point.

i also wont be intimadated or bullied. bye who ever thinks they actualy own the group and is just part of the group.

Nobody is trying to bully or intimidate you, quite the opposite from what I read, a lot of people are trying to help you.
