Wow. Thankyou Pat. It makes you look at the picture so differently . I never noticed all the detail in her dress. Thankyou so much.

Hello again,
I am a little confused (maybe thick ) trying to thank everyone for their wonderful efforts. Though there are 6 versions that have been done, I only got emails to notify me of two of them. They took me straight to each restoration and I could hit the reply button & comment. But then I saw the others and I can't work out how to comment on each photo. (any hints?)
So, a big thankyou also to Martin S, Loord 74 & Jim1  Each is different and she looks beautiful. I love them all, the soft edges, the colours and the restored without colour too. Sadly I never got to meet my grandmother as she died  before I was born so it is lovely to see her photo in a better condition. I appreciate it very much.
Many Thanks, Tracey

Some lovely restores and what a lovely young lady she was  :)

The striped stockings must have come back into fashion in the 1960s. I remember having some striped tights late 60s or maybe early 70s.
