Hello again

I have just been loaned this photo by the family for my history but it is badly creased and damaged.  The photo was only taken in 1969 twelve months prior to these two lovely girls being killed in the 1970 Barcelona air disaster.

Hello Carol,


Thank you so much it was very tragic.  Yvonne and Sandra were friends from being toddlers.  This photo was taken in Blackpool were they had both worked their 2 weeks summer holidays  for two years to get the money for a trip to Spain but unfortunately they didn't get there.  The friends died just before their 18th birthdays on the flight from Manchester that had no survivors and many of the other passengers were from our area.
