Oh thanks Heather, you're right, that could be the doctor shortform.  Well spotted.

I've just been working on the entry for the 21st and there are some gaps in that if you fancy having a go!

21 Sunday
Go away.
Morris is coming before 10 to take us to Paddington.  Morris was late.  Had to go and fetch him.  We were waiting (?) outside his house. Arrived Paddington in about 20 minutes.  He kissed me goodbye.  I was thrilled.  W.S.M (presumably Weston Super Mare) about 2.5........

and then I can't read the last bit.  Last two outlines could be 'wrote card' ??

Yes G G would be Golders Green. Jerry is correct - she was my mother's cousin who was 5 years older. Bubbles was younger than my mother by 2 years.

Thanks for clarification, LS.  Fascinating stuff, this.  It's a bit like a time machine, peeping back into 1935.

23 Tuesday

Sat on the sands with Bob and Brian* after a swim with them in the afternoon,  met them in the evening and we went on the pier but  did not stay very long  because there was nothing doing so went for a walk around to the beach.  They sat down and Bob wanted to kiss me.  **.... I like him very much.

*Not sure if these names are correct.  Anyone got any other ideas?
**  Looks like 'smack'!

I think if it got too personal, I would suggest we called a halt.  As it is, I think we're dealing with rather nice youthful flirtations.   :)
