Hi is there anyone out there who can look up for me
a Lydia Cook born March l838 district Islington. She married a William Burrows in about l858-l860 had one children could of had more the childs name was Julia Ann Burrows she was born in Sheffield.  Can anyone help me.

Hi goldilocks,

What information are you seeking?  Have you found her on any census before she married?  If so, where?  Also do you have her father's name from her marriage certificate?  Or are you looking for her parents?  Bear in mind that the only way to see the information from a civil birth registration is to get the certificate.  The registers are not open to public inspection.

Hi Nell I have found Lydia Cook on Eng and Wales Civil Registration Index l837-l983. It does not have her parents name only where she was born.  She had a daughter born in l86l so i am assuming she got married in l858 or something to a William Burrows.  I just thought there may have been something else to look at over there as i am writing from Australia.
