All these photo's are lovely, some of them are positively stunning, and I don't want to discard any of them. I only wish I was half as talented as some of you are. Thank  to you all ,you have made my life a very happy one since  the posting my mother. I have looked so forward to opening my emails each day in anticipation of what little gem was awaiting me. xxx Sylvia Churchill

I have put a couple of these photos on Facebook of the before and after restoration. If I should be asked where I got them restored do I give them the name of Roots Chat or not. I would hate to swamp you with requests to restore peoples  photo's.

We can take it, Sylvia. ;D
Maybe just mention a couple of things:
Send the images as a good file size so restorers have plenty of pixels to work with and generally produce better work. This usually means scanning at 300 or 600 dpi - whatever fits under the Rootschat limit of 500 kB.
And if they have a few to be done it's probably a good idea to send only one or two at a time, waiting for completed restores before sending more. Otherwise, when the board is busy some requests tend to get lost down the board until someone notices them. And also with only one or two at a time you tend to get more restorers having a go at them, therefore more restores to choose from.
Cheers,
Peter

Okay thanks McGroger.I just popped into facebook and as sure as God made little apples I was just asked the question, I will go paste the instructions for them but not before I ask if I can post another lovely photo of my other gorgeous mother inlaw, or the lovely Lucy Edwards who is in my profile picture. Will that be okay  ?
