Cheers Annie,
They probably knew of each other.
Cousin Mel told me to look on Ancestry for death of either William J or Florence E Whitmore in 2000. He married her in 1981, but no sign of his earlier marriage.
All the best,
Cedric.

Cedric

Here's something funny - here's a Florence E Young -

Name   Florence E. Young
SSN       031-03-6681
home   08610  Trenton, Mercer, New Jersey USA
Born    16 Oct 1918
Died       26 Apr 1995
SSN issued   Massachusetts (Before 1951 )

The Social Security was issued at the same time and State - was she English too ?
- the thing that bothers me is the address!

Let me know what you think!! ( by the way she was the only Florence E ... ::) )

Well good for you Cedric .....!
See you don't need me at all - you do great on your own!! ;) ;)
Where was she?

Annie

Did you say she died in 2000 too? without sounding too personal Cedric - John was a long living man - were you able to meet him? he probably had plenty of stories ....... ;)

We think she is still alive, being younger than him.
We never knew he existed, let alone met him. His father was my grandfather's brother. Their father was a London policeman living opposite The British Museum, another William YOUNG. He died after falling off the back of a runaway horse & trap in 1903.
Families eh? Who'd 'ave 'em?
Regards,
Cedric.
