I have this record that I believe may be the couple I want.

I know my James Murphy b 1893 Ballyart Wexford wed a Margaret O'Leary b 1895 Wexford. My Aunt has recorded that he was a Draper but no other info about him until I recently found out from his descendant that he went to London. I can't find him in 1911, there are a few James Murphys the right age but nothing to indicate if its him or not.
Thanks
M
So is this information correct so far? The birth and the marriage?
Does the descendant not know any further information? Did the couples children's births occur in Ireland or London?
Heywood
Heywood, the Descendant is a new connection made via DNA. I am waiting rather impatiently for more info from her, the children were born Wexford possibly Rosslare but she is not sure.
I am sure our James Murphy, a Draper was b. 1893 in Ballyart and married a Margaret O'Leary I had no idea what became of them after that until I made this connection.
Common names to try searching but the marriage I found in Wicklow is really a good fit for James (approx year, age, occupation, Fathers name and Fathers name and her age correct for Margaret) but James Murphy's from Wexford are not a rare bunch and Margaret Learys are also rather common. I don't know where James was living after 1901 as he was not at home in 1911 and at least 3 possible candidates on 1911 Census that could be him in both Wexford and Enniscorthy but none at the address that the James Murphy who married in Wicklow gave.
I was perhaps clutching at straws trying to find out more about the Celebrant to see if I could connect My James to this Marriage somehow. I don't know if the couple in Wicklow are mine for sure and maybe I never will. Maybe my match knows more about Margaret O'Leary, like her exact place/date of birth which would allow me to check her parents and address. I will just have to wait to hear from her. No patience me!!
I will let you know if I find out, meanwhile I will let this rest.
Thanks again for your help.

Hope that makes sense.
