Looking for any information on Marvin Eugene Hendrix born Chinook Montana USA

He was a Yeoman in the US Naval Forces and was 17 years old when he married my mother on 15 January 1944.  His father was John William Hendrix and his mother Helen Siemens.  His father was a butcher.  He has a relative who was his guardian ad litem by the name of Jake Siemens.  He divorced my mother on 22 October, 1946.  Not sure where to start.

Understand re not forum for lost relatives however until I can find some details on my husbands father, I cannot begin to track any family history.  So I am looking at a starting point to begin.

There are various trees on Ancestry.com showing Marvin's ancestry back to a John Hendrix bc.1859 Kentucky.   Would suggest you look at those as the ones I've looked at seem pretty detailed.
