Very difficult when so many conflicting details are posted.

Looks like your Hugh Heaney was born 1861 or 1854, married Martha Peacock (in 1849 before he was born) or Mary Ann Mulholland (or both?), he died in 1936 (or date unknown?) but wife remarried in 1859 …

There are so many contradictions that it's hard to look through previous threads and this latest one and figure out what is correct.

Yes, You are right and I apologise to everyone for that.

The help I have received from strangers on this forum has been quite remarkable.

When I started my quest I was a total newby and I took everything I had as 100% accurate - Over the last several years I've had to amend and change as things are proved or disproved.

None the less I have solved a few family mysterys and managed to build a tree with over 6000 people on it.

I am still keen to discover more but feel I am no longer able to with out more expert help.

Please rest assured I am genuine and always grateful for any small amount of help anyone can give me.

I'm also happy to return the favor if I can as I visit the Mitchell Library often - I'm just not great at searching things out.
