Hannah Warburton
« on: Wednesday 23 May 18 17:32 BST (UK) »
I think Hannah Warburton was Born/Bapt in Maples but I can not find the record. She Married Thomas Cope on 31 Aug 1852 Wybunbury Cheshire and her father is named as James Warburton.
She was Buried on 25 Apr 1910 Hough Cheshire. But her Father & Mother are a bit of a mystery other one come up but they do not seem right to much distance between places.

I have attached a photo of the tree
If anyone can help me I would be Great full

Hough is in the Nantwich regisration district.  The General Register Office (GRO) death index has:
COPE, Hannah, age 79, Jun qtr 1910, Nantwich vol 8a p184
If the age is accurate (and often it wasn't!) this would give a birth year of c1830-31.

Does the marriage registration give an occupation for Hannah's father, or note if he was deceased?

A suggestion from 1841 in Harthill, which is close to Bickerton, given as her place of birth in later censuses (all around Malpas), Both she and Sarah are servants

Sarah Warburton    17
Hannah Warburton    10

There's a James and Elizabeth Warburton baptising children in Bickerton/Malpas (depending on the source) in the 1830s, including Anne on 6 April 1832

Anne and Hannah can be interchangeable

Where are the sources from?

FreeReg have Malpas St Oswald baptisms up to 1830, but I haven't seen later baptism transcripts (except on familysearch, which is not 100% reliable!)

I'm viewing baptisms on FindMyPast - on there baptism is of Anna Warburton on 6/4/1832 Malpas, daughter of James Warburton and Elizabeth - abode Bickerton.    James' occupation is Plasterer.

The marriage in 1852 of Hannah to Thomas Cope, shows her father as James Warburton, Plasterer.

So, Mabel Bagshawe is spot on!
