Hi dortmund,
   Can you rescan the photo. As you can see the photo has some over zealous clone stamping to the uniform and the brickwork.

OK, that's a shame. I will have a crack at it. I might have to scrounge  a uniform from another picture. Do you know what  regiment he was in?

Trevor ... rough cut fix ... :)

The right hand and uniform is pretty good ..

So cloned right hand and uniform ... flipped it over ... so it now looks like a left hand and uniform ..

To ensure it does not just look like a symetrical mirror image ... I then tweaked the cloned bit by rotating and lengthening a minute amount ..

finally merged them all together ..

hope you like it .... ;)

That's pretty neat Gary, I was  going to try and salvage something from another uniform but you beat me to it. All that needs doing is that brick work to his left. Same technique as the uniform. Take some courses above the obvious touch up.
