1851 Census for Thomas and Ruth Scott

Hello,

I can see the two living in Maddington in 1851, but it records the two as just being born in England according to FamilySearch. Is this true? Why were places not given, just the country? Ruth died in 1857, so I'm looking for a burial for her. I have Thomas'.

I'd appreciate any help!

Place of birth Maddington for both

Thanks. I've emailed Maddington parish church so if they were both born there then that should help.

Ruth Scott was buried 18th September 1857 Maddington aged 72
