Marriage - On Monday, in the Congregationalists Chapel, by the Rev J Charles (Minister) and in the presence of Mr J Denbigh Jones (registrar), Miss Mabel Freeman, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs Freeman, Bryn Trefor, Trefynant married Mr Ernest Smith, youngest son of Mr James Smith distributer of the "Herald") Cefn Mawr. The best man was Mr Enoch Roberts, Tai Gwynedd, Cefn, At the end of the ceremony Miss Harriet Griffiths, Cefn sang a solo. Following this the young pair were greeted by numerous friends at their future home. The Rev J Charles paid high tribute to Mr Smith as on of the most useful members of the church under his care. The young par will spend their honeymoon in Staffordshire. Amongst the many gifts was a cheque from a friend from South Africa
