Henry Sutcliffe (my grandfather) had moved to Tabard Street, The Borough, Southwark in 1939
His wife Mary has died earlier in the year.
I was trying to find out a DOB for Thomas Bradshaw(e) who was Mary's nephew. Ancestry just didn't identify him at all and kept giving me people who were clearly not the right man. I have now found him on FindMyPast 1939 register and now have his DOB (hopefully he was honest about it). I was hoping he was still living at 17 Mermaid Court as I knew he had lived there at an earlier date. In 1939 he had moved to Davidge House, Tanswell Estate living in Lambeth.
What is now of interest though is who are Elizabeth Mary Francis and William Henry Francis?
Up until 1938 everyone living at 17 Mermaid Court (and at one point there was a lot of them!) were related.
