military records for an Angus naval pensioner?
« on: Tuesday 09 August 05 12:23 BST (UK) »
does anyone know of records for military men late 1700`s early 1800`s? My ancestor Charles McKenzie is recorded on the 1841 census of Forfar as a naval pensioner. Does anyone have access to these records? ??? Pam

Hi Pam,
There is no garantee, that any of these men are yours.
But if he was a Naval Pensioner, this means he went through England. A Greenwich Pensioner,
This is the avenue, via the National Archives.
the ADM is Naval.
You can go ahead and buy the paper work. Click on the thread below.....

Hope you find your man......
