POUNDER in Burnley.

My family came from Bolton and my Grandmother was a POUNDER, they originally came from North Yorkshire.

Over the years when I did more family history work, I used to see Pounders in Burnley.

There are no longer any of my family with the Pounder name around Bolton but when I was recently looking at the Locate My Name website. I noticed that there is a still a high number of Pounders in Burnley.  I have never found a link but wonder if anyone has researched the name in that area?

I have had a quick look and nothing obvious just trying to target Burnley and see if any Pounders from there.
