Hi,
does anyone know if John Bentley's son John is John Morgan Bentley the doctor of music at Cambridge? I am trying to find john morgan Bentleys parents and grandparents etc and also to see if related to Richard Bentley the Cambridge scholar. thanks for any info or directions!

Do you have his son's marriage - 28 February 1895 - Holy Trinity, Ashton (Wigan)

George Herbert Bentley, 26, bachelor, Electrical Engineer.  Father:  John Morgan Bentley, Professor of Music
Leila Octavia Crompton, 25, spinster.  Father:  Thomas Crompton, ???? Manufacturer

Witnesses:  Clara Katherine Crompton and George Morris Gilroy

No I don't, are u getting it in ancestry.com? His daughter is our great great great, so I needed before him. Although knowing the other children’s names was new to my family so that is also great. And my dad is named after Richard but we lost documentation due to a family feud way back! 😅
