Some advice please 😧

I am looking to find where my Great Grandfather is buried, his name was Frederick John Jones b 1880 in s o t.

I know he died in s.o.t sept q 1950 age 71

Newcastle cemetery have kindly done a search , and say he is not buried with them , did the search FREE

Stoke say I have to pay £30 for them to search, I can understand that if I did not know when he died , but I know the name and date.

Is there any other way of finding out were he is 😠

Have you considered the possibility that he was cremated.
