Barry Family, Limerick 1830's
« on: Wednesday 10 August 05 02:39 BST (UK) »
My 2x ggrandmother, Catherine Barry, emigrated to Australia with her 2 sisters Honora and Mary Ann in 1853 on a government assisted scheme for single women in poor circumstances to balance the sexes in Australia.
Catherine was born in Limerick abt 1832, Honora 1831 and Mary Ann 1834.  Their parents were John Barry and Mary Boyle.
I would like to try and find more information on the family in Ireland but not sure where to look.  Any help would be appreciated.
