Hi,
Yes, I'm specifically interested in anything on Daisy Tithecott 1914-1925 in Pontllanfraith, Wales. There will surely be school records and likely some traces of Church records connected with the William and Fanny Tithecott family. The first reference, sent to me some time ago, listing Daisy's birthdate is at her initial entrance to the Pontllanfraith infant's school on 9 April 1918. Her birthdate was listed as 6 May 1914. What I'm looking for is some corroborating evidence of her birthdate and additional information from Pontllanfraith (girls department) school, Church or other local records so I can begin looking for a birth certificate. As far as I can tell, the 20 March 1925 Canopic ship manifest lists Daisy's age as 10 but does not give the actual birthdate. I do know that Daisy was never adopted by the Tithecott's although they raised her from infancy to adulthood. It is true she Daisy used the surname Perry on some legal documents after she was 21. So the Perry surname is one I'm pursuing. But for now, I'm looking for specific help with traces of Daisy 1914-1925 in Pontllanfraith, Wales. The home location was with William and Fanny Tithecott at Springfield, Llanarth Road, Pontllanfraith. (Springfield cottages...not sure which # though. Thank you so much!
