Hello,

Thanks so much for your kind offer! I certainly wish I lived close to a records office. Here is my "wish list". Please feel no obligation to do all or any of them.

I am looking for birth records for these four people:

Alicia Isabel Leman 1865 in Wandsworth
Joseph O'Connor 1890 in Brixton
Florence Godson 1877 in Kew
Sarah Haighton Wilks 1808 in Brixton

I am looking for death records for these two people:

Joseph O'Connor 1890 in Brixton
Frederick Noyes 1877 in Wandsworth.

Do you know if the records office holds burial records?

Thanks again for your posting, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Best Regards,

Cameron Bryant
St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada

P.S. Where in Surrey are you located? My family was mainly from around Wandsworth, Putney, Kew and Brixton.

Hi,

I notice that an ALICE Dorkings was born in Yaxley, Huntingdonshire in 1812.

Perhaps this is where Christmas was born too?

It may be worth looking at the parish registers. You can order them in to view at any LDS Mormons centre. Each film costs around £2.70 for three weeks.
