2 Barnes Family members disappear - help please

I'm trying to find out what happened to 2 family members of mine and struggling on this occasion.
I have Hannah Madge Barnes (previously Robinson - born Bird) who was born on 25th October 1894 and definitely alive in 1957 (found on ships lists) but I cannot locate her death.
Her husband Arthur Barnes died in 1965 in Hinckley, Leicestershire aged 65.
They had a son together Arthur A Barnes who was born on 17th September 1920 in Hinckley and in 1939 he is listed on the National Register living in Hinckley.
I've looked at possible remarriages of Hannah and possible deaths in WW2 of Arthur (Junior) but nothing seems to bring anything up.
Can anyone help please

You say “found on ships list”. Can you give more info?

Hisband died 1965 and ships lists 1957 so were they together at that time?

Who reported Arthur’s death?  If it was Hannah then she was alive in 1965.  If not her - is Arthur shown as a widower?

Yes that's right Milliepede - that's the ships list they were on
I have not ordered Arthur Barnes death cert in 1965 but yes naturally that is the next step but want to know if I can find anything more on Hannah and Arthur (Junior)

I think you have the wrong death for Arthur given his birthyear was 1878 on the 1939 register

Do you know anything about them being in NZ or is the ships list a big surprise?

I suspect Arthur died pre-1957 and Hannah & son emigrated.  There is a 1953 death in Leics which could be him

But it looks as if it has been corrected with a red pen to read 1898
Something written in pencil above him and Hannah I cannot interpret.

Yes well noticed - it has been corrected - he was definitely born in 1899 and died in 1965.  The ships list also confirms his correct date of birth and with Hannah who he married in 1919.
There is slight confusion over his actual date of birth as his baptism record on 23rd August 1899 lists him as being born on 22nd July but his naval record for WW1 and the 1939 Register both have it as 22nd June.
Its certainly his death in 1965.  It's just really strange that Hannah and Arthur (Junior) do seem to have disappeared though.  Arthur (Junior) could have died in WW2 as there's not much in the way of any marriage after the war but can't seem to find much about that either.
